Wryip launched a completely new version of our popular American States and Capitals app to great success. The app, now in its second version, continues to be a best-selling app on the Amazon and Nook app stores, and is a top app in its category in the Apple App Store as well.

The new version added a number of new features including a quiz with advanced learning features, a zoomable interactive map of the United States, and a direct integration into the app’s companion web site AmericanStatesAndCapitals.com for continually updated state information and history content.

The quiz features random question generation from a large pool of assessment items ensuring that each time through the quiz is a unique learning experience.

American States and Capitals App

We are proud to announce the release of American States and Capitals for the Nook and Kindle Fire! These new versions join the earlier versions for Android phones, Android tablets, iPhone and iPad. The Nook app is available now at BN.com and the Kindle app is available immediately on Amazon.com. The other Android and IOS versions of the app continue to be available in their respective app stores.

This family of Apps make it fun and easy for anyone to learn the state capitals, nicknames, official birds, flowers, and other key information about each U.S. state. The Apps present state and capital info in a fun, easy to use, color-rich visual format utilizing an intuitive touch interface. Users of the Apps simply have to touch a state to learn more about it.

The Apps received positive reviews in the Apple App Store being hailed as great tools for teaching and learning.
